(April 12, 1937 - March 15, 2012) Nona Mildred Welch, age 74, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Maryville Healthcare after a courageous battle with cancer. She worked at Maryville Healthcare for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Willie Welch; brothers, Lloyd, Grady, Gregory, and Billy Jr Welch.; and sisters, Velma Bowers, Hazel Swanson, Christine Hall, and Ruby Patton. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Miller; son, Tim Welch; granddaughter, Trista Welch; very special nieces, Pam Kronz and husband Bob and Vivian Cook and husband Harold; sister, Garnet Rose; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Alvin Patton officiating. Family and friends will gather 3:00 PM Sunday at Williamson Chapel Cemetery for the interment.
