Survivors: wife, Barbara Gilland of Clinton; daughters, Glenda Newton and husband, Kevin of Maryville, Theresa Holt of Newport, Tenn.; step-daughter, Betty Williams and husband, Jeff of Talbott, Tenn.; son, Dennis and Janie Gilland of Longview, Texas; step-son, Joe and Candy Carr of Lake City; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Edith and Clyde Johnson of Strawberry Plains, Tenn., Donna and Michael Blanton of Knoxville; brother, Fred and Jan Gilland of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.
