Moore-Melhorn wedding
Cynthia Gale Melhorn, of Wartburg, daughter of Donald and Ruth Melhorn, of Wartburg, was united in marriage with Scott Michael Moore, of Maryville, son of Tom and Kathy Moore, of Maryville, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Capitol Theatre, Maryville. The Rev. Mike Kessler, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, officiated.
Matrons of honor were Carrie Jones, of Wartburg, and Lindsay Parks Rebert, of Knoxville, and maid of honor was Cari Hartlage, of Nashville. Bridesmaids were Connie Melhorn Turner, of Rockwood, Angie Cole Schmidt, of Knoxville, and Heather Russell, of Cookeville. Raelee Jones was flower girl.
Doug Moore, of Knoxville, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Napier, of Nashville, Patrick Napier, of Nashville, Thor Harland, of Memphis, Ray Janeway, of Harrisburg, S.D., Chris Boring, of Urbandale, Iowa, Tim Self, of Maryville, and Adam Shepard, of New York City.
A reception hosted by the bride and bridegroom was held at the Capitol Theatre.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Middle Tennessee State University. She is corporate marketing manager at Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers.
The bridegroom received a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a sales representative for Meyer Laboratory.
