Survivors include her daughter, Steffanie R. Bird and son-in-law, Chuck of Cleveland, TN; father, Joseph H. Fortenberry ; brother, Joseph W. Fortenberry of Dayton, TN; sister, Mary Ellen Acuff and brother-in-law, Ron; very special friend, Ron Reel; her faithful loving feline companions, Daphne and Webb. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Wahid Hannah, Dr. Doug Holland and nurse, Melanie for the love and care that they provided Debbie. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Highland South Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Hill officiating. Family and friends will meet in Highland South Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 for committal services.
