DOCKINS , JAMES PAUL - age 86, passed away peacefully at 1:40 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2005 in the arms of his beloved wife of 64 years. He was surrounded by his loving family, which he treasured so dearly. He was a member of Marbledale Baptist Church. Poppy served in World War II and retired from Royal Crown Bottling Company, which he faithfully supported. He leaves his family and friends until such time as we are reunited in Heaven wife, Wanda daughters, Barbara Hall and Debra Richards devoted grandson, Jason and wife, Mandy Huffaker granddaughter, Alexandria Ladd precious great-granddaughter, Presley Aleece Huffaker special nephew and caregiver, Mike Haun special devoted nieces, Sharon Ford and Janice Adcock-Ladd special sister and caregiver, Louise Wade twin sister, Pauline Smith sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Wright) Smith, Algonquin, Ill., Dorothy Cynar and Lucille (George) Flanagin special friend, neighbor and caregiver, William Leffew. He was preceded in death by: parents, Clyde and Bertha Dockins and brother, Arthur Dockins . The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday with funeral services at 8:00 pm at Marbledale Baptist Church, Rev. Al Smith and Rev. Lee Chorn officiating. Family and friends will meet at Asbury Cemetery Tuesday at 11:00 am for interment services. Pallbearers will be: nephews Mike Haun, Jerry Frazier, Jackie Frazier, Paul Dockins , Danny Smith and Glen Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be: the Senior Men's Class of Marbledale Baptist Church, where Papaw was a Senior Member and was very grateful to attend the celebration and dedication of the new facility rebuilt after a fire destroyed the original church building. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marbledale Baptist Church Building Fund, 6101 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville, TN 37914.
