HAMLEY , HALLIE IMA MONORE - age 79 of Halls, passed away August 31, 2002 from a lingering illness. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by son, Jack Allen, Jr. parents, Horace and Clara Monroe sisters, Dollie Haun, Pearl Booker, Mabel Arnold and brothers, Freeman, Scott, H.M. and Johnny Monroe. Survivors: husband of 61 years, Jack daughters, Carol Hamley and Teresa Allen of Halls and Judy Malach and son in law, Phil Malach of Louisville, Tenn. grandchildren, Jim and Jeff Mash, Jennifer Valentine all of Knoxville, Dixie Wicker and Russell Malach of Maryville and Amy Cavins of Murfreesboro, Tenn. great grandchildren, Chris, Alexandria, Katie and Cameron Mash and Johnathan and Samuel Malach sisters, Myrtle Weaver of Halls and Alva Fann of Antioch, Tenn. brothers, Ralph and Marshall Monroe of Knoxville, Glenn Monroe of Daytona Beach, Fla. and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to UT Medical Center Hospice Staff. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2200 Sutherland Ave. h-102 Knoxville, Tenn. 37919. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 11 a.m. Dr. Charles Earl officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews, Bill Weaver, Terry Monroe, Ken Arnold, Mike Coffman, Mark Monroe and Steve Hamley . Arrangements by Mynatt's.
