MYRTLE NAOMI - age 98 of Knoxville, formerly of Maynardville, passed away peacefully at 4 p.m. Thursday April 4, 2002 at the home of her daughter, Wilma Reeves. Longtime member of First Baptist Church of Maynardville. She was preceded in death by husband, Frank, Carter ; and son, Otis. Survivors include daughters and son in law, Wilma and Cliff Reeves, Betty Monroe and Janna Meyers; sons and daughters in law, Marshal and Judy, Roy and Peggy, Coy and Iva , Carlos and Martha Jean; 22 grandchildren; and 39 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Saturday in Ailor's Chapel with Rev. Luther Cox officiating and music by Darrell Carter . Interment in Skaggs Cemetery, Maynardville at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. Pallbearers, Rick Carter , Jimmy Carter , Danny Reeves, Roger Reeves, Coy Ray Carter , Jeff Carter , Bill Monroe, Jerry Monroe, Jackie Monroe and Harold Carter .
