Preceded in death by parents, James and Juanita McMillan ; sons, Robert and Devine McMillan ; daughter, Peola Sims. She leaves to rejoice her homegoing: three devoted children, E. Idella (Walter) Walker of South Carolina, Cecil (Thelma) and Herbert (Sandra) McMillan of Knoxville, Martha Brown of Knoxville; grandchildren, Darla Sims and Masoko Truitt of Knoxville, Teanna McMillan and Crystal McMillan of Ohio, Farrah McMillan of California, Douglas, Marcus, Eugene, Jafar, Herbert Jr., and Cecil Jr., all of Knoxville, and Jimmy of Ohio; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel McMillan and Arnine Smith of Knoxville; three nieces; six nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews; 15 great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14, 2001, at Unity Mortuary Chapel from 1:30-2 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Steve Simpson officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Unity Mortuary.
