FARMVILLE — Wallwork , Mrs. Betty Jo, 81, a retired nurse, wife of David Wallwork.

Betty Jo Wallwork died Thursday, August 20, 2015.
Mrs. Wallwork was the loving wife of David Wallwork Sr. and the mother of three children, Ben Johnson and wife, Susan, Dr. Drew Johnson and wife, Maggie all of Farmville, and Johanna Beasley and husband, Tommy of Kill Devil Hills, NC. She also had two stepchildren, Deborah Booze and husband, Gene of Appomattox, and David Wallwork Jr. and friend, Mark Cornelius of Walnut Creek, CA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Harrison Johnson and wife, Marie Helen of Dillwyn, Clay Johnson, Carson Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Zach Johnson all of Farmville, Chet Smith, Anna Beasley, Rachel Beasley of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and a great-grandson, Jack Johnson of Dillwyn.
She enjoyed the country life working with flowers in her vegetable garden. She earned her Virginia Federation of Garden Club pin in Halifax. She enjoyed the Woman’s Club, Serendipity Club, and was active in the Farmville Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 29 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to Madeline’s House or Farmville Presbyterian Church.
