FARMVILLE - Clabo, Mr. Pinkney Armalee, 83, a farmer, husband of Virginia R. Clabo.

Pinkney Armalee Clabo, 83, of Farmville, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia R. Clabo of Farmville; two daughters, Jo Ann Showalter and husband, Bobby of Prospect, and Earlene Simpson and husband, Ray of Sarasota, FL; a son, Michael H. Clabo and wife, Connie of Farmville; four grandchildren, Todd Clabo and wife, Stephanie of Farmville, Lee Ann Shock and husband, Ryan of Richmond, Zack Simpson and wife, Lauren of St. Petersburg, FL, and Will Showalter of Prospect; four great-grandchildren, Sabrina Simpson, Leah Simpson, Justin Clabo, and Matthew Clabo; four sisters, Marjorie Galyon and husband, Ralph of Alcoa, TN, Edna Wood and husband, Gene of Farmville, Betty Jo Wallwork and husband, David of Farmville, and Louise Motley and husband, Earl of Fishersville; two brothers, Frank Clabo and wife, Cecil of Gatlinburg, TN, Howard Clabough and wife, Jeannie of Appomattox; and extended family, Edna Clay Smith, Poley Ayers, and Mary Alice Miles.
Mr. Clabo was preceded in death by his parents, Pinkney L. and Viola H. Clabo; a sister, June Watson; and brothers, Shirrill Clabo and Joy Clabo.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 19, at Concord Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Edward County Rescue Squad or Concord Baptist Church.
The Shorter Funeral Home, of Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
