"Buzz" Tolbert Reagan, Jr., our beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017. He was born in Gatlinburg on August 30th, 1937. Buzz helped build his father's motel, worked in his father's coal business, drove a truck for McCarter Lumber, and worked as a carpenter for many years. People say he was an excellent finish carpenter.
One of his greatest loves was hunting in the mountains and being outdoors. Buzz hunted for deer and turkey at Tellico, Big Southfork, Catoosa, and various wildlife management areas. He also loved his family very much. Buzz was a strong, mountain man who was good, kind, giving, loving, and a born again Christian. We will miss his sense of humor and the caring way he treated us all.
Buzz was preceded in death by his little sister, Teresa; his mother, Ruby Parton Reagan; his father, "Tol" John Tolbert Reagan, Sr.; and his older sister, Henrietta Miller.
Buzz is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sandra Reagan; children, Gary Reagan and wife Dona Reagan, Mark Reagan and wife Jocelle Reagan, Michelle Reagan; step-son, Franky Chambers; grandchildren, Desiree, Camilla, Audrey, Erin, Emma and Matthew; great-grandson, Kolyn; brothers, Larry Reagan and wife Mary Nell, Fred Reagan and wife Candy; sister, Judy Tipton;
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Wednesday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Barker officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Thursday in Laurel Grove Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
