Pearl Edna Kellar, age 92, of Newport, passed away Monday, December 29, 2003, at Mariner Health Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Keller; brother, William Clark; sisters, Arvilla Nease and Eula Clark; and son-in-law, Verlan E. Green. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Sandy Kellar Sr., of Lexington, N.C.; daughter, Pauline Green, of Newport; brother, Fred Clark, of Rock Hill, S.C.; sisters, Grettelle Kopp, of Detroit, Mich.; Mary Cooper, of Newport; Cynthia Booth, of Johnson City; grandchildren, Fred Kellar Jr., Tom Paul Kellar, Regina Lane, Patricia Susan Kellar, Rebecca Pearl Millan, and Edna Mae Ball; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Green officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Union Cemetery.
