He was preceded in death by his parents, Royce Marie McLemore, and Royce and Dorothy Tweedle; brother, Roy McLemore. Survivors: Wife: Vera Tweedle; Daughter: Michelle McCarter; Son: James Dewayne “Jake” Tweedle, Jr.; Step-Children: Doug Peacock and Eva Peacock; Grandchildren: McKenzie McCarter and Chloe Payne; Step-Grandchildren: Travis York, Jr., Austin York, Cory York, and Isaac Peacock; Brother: Allison McLemore and wife Amy; Special Nephews: Wade and Austin McLemore. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family. The family will receive friends 10-11 AM Saturday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge, with graveside service immediately following in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
