Josie Davidson Vineyard - age 87 of Lenoir City, born in Walnut, KS on October 4, 1922, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010. She was a member of Lenoir City Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, Calvin C. Vineyard; son, Clayton Wayne Vineyard; great grandson, Logan Matthew Vineyard, parents, Fred and Ethel Williams Davidson; brothers, Glenn, Howard and Odell Davidson; sisters, Velma Teeters and Edith Risley. She is survived by her son, Jerry Lynn Vineyard and wife, Loretta; daughter-in-law, Gail Vineyard all of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Wendy Adams and husband, Travis Adams, Chip Vineyard and wife, Libby, Travis Vineyard and wife, Jennifer, Brent Vineyard and wife, Tonya all of Lenoir City, Kevin Vineyard and wife, Jodi of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Colby and Corbin Moses, Lane, Hayden, Brycen, Jackson, and Luke Vineyard, Preston and Peyton Adams; sisters, Faye Harris of Oregon and Ruth Clay of Newport Richey, Florida; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to Avalon Hospice and Dr. Charles Bruton and his staff for their excellent care. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Mr. Steve Riley officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. on Sunday and proceed to Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 2 p.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
