Pauline Willis Kuykendall, age 81, of Newport, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Baptist Convalescent Center. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Del Rio.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred M. Kuykendall, daughters Jean and Joan Shetley, parents Garl and Nova Willis; brother Everette Willis and sisters Emma Lee Reece and Mary Lou Lord.
She is survived by her sons Jimmy Kuykendall, Larry Kuykendall and wife Brenda; sisters Louetta Payne of Greeneville SC, Iowa Grigsby of Del Rio, Eva Greene of Baton Rouge, LA, brother George Willis of Greenville, SC; grandchildren Melanie Kuykendall Clark and husband Michael, Jameson and Joshua Kuykendall, Jamie Kuykendall McMahan and husband Billy; Chris, Eric and Craig Shetley; great grandchildren John Michael and James Mitchell Clark, Tyler and Taylor McMahan, C. J., Braxton and Carson Shetley; son-in-laws Minnis and James Shetley and wife Eva.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2010 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. James Shetley officiating. The family will receive friends form 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Clark Cemetery in Del Rio.
