Pratt, Geneva M. (Williams) – age 88 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Holston HealthCare Center. Member of East Sunnyview Baptist Church and also attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She grew up in the Ramsey Community. She accepted Christ at a young age. She enjoyed flowers, crocheting, embroidering, spending time with family and attending church. She married Sherman W. Pratt on August 1, 1936 to whom she was a loving wife and friend for 72 years before his passing in 2007. She was also preceded in death by parents Henry and Anna Williams; one brother; three sisters; and daughters-in-law, Sandra Pratt and Betty Pratt. Survived by sons, Harold Pratt, Billy Pratt, David Pratt and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Brian Pratt, Mitzi and husband Dr. Kevin Keith, Dr. Mark and wife Dr. Martha Ann Pratt, Rebecca and husband Chris Slagle, Jacob Pratt, and Zachary Pratt; great grandchildren, Tripp Booher, Baylor Booher, Caden Booher, Harper E. Pratt, Morgan Hanson, Alex Pratt, Chance Slagle, and Edward Pratt; brothers, Glen and Ted Williams; and sister-in-law, Leda Ruth Wade. Special thanks to Holston HealthCare for the compassion shown. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2010, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Don Watson officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM Saturday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to Caledonia Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
