Alicia Faye Cannon Bell, 26, of Sweetwater, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, in Bryson City, N.C., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
A native and lifelong resident of Sweetwater, she was an employee of Woods Presbyterian Nursing Home and was also taking CNA classes. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Virgil and Dorothy Beasley Webb; and her paternal grandparents, Tyrus and Agnes Grey Cannon .
Survivors include her parents, Roger and Kathy Webb Cannon of Sweetwater; two daughters, Hayley Cannon and Alexia Bell, both of Sweetwater; one son, Xzavier Seal of Sweetwater; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ashley and David Moses of Sweetwater, and Rachael Cannon of Sweetwater; one niece and nephew, Emily Moses and Trenton Getter; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Webb and the Rev. Bruce Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Christianburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Bell, Nick Kadau, Mark Keller, Jeffery Getter, David Seal and David Moses.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ziegler Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
