Clabough, Sr., James (Raymond) –age 68, of South Knoxville, left this world to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 7:30 AM. He was retired from the UT Medical Center Steam Plant. Deacon of E. Avenue House of Prayer and was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by parents, Elijah and Bertha Clabough; great-granddaughter, Megan Holt; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Martha; children, Patricia (Toby)Morris, James Jr., and Deana (Steve) Bright; grandchildren, Lee and Kaitlyn Morris, Kayla and Craig Clabough, Dee, Derek and Trey Samuel and Stevie Bright; great-grandsons, Drew and Doasha Clabough; brother, Tom Clabough; sisters, Shirley Longmire and Sally Henderson. Special thanks to UT Hospice.
Service
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at E. Avenue House of Prayer, Rev. Tom Clabough officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Dee, Derek, Stevie, Trey, Lee, Craig and nephew, Mike Givens.
