FOX , MARIE BROCK - of Halls, born November 22, 1917, died July 31, 1999. She was a longtime member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Fox ; father, Edward Brock of Medford, Oregon; and mother, Pansy Davis of Crescent City, Calif. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Joe Dennis and Judith Phelps Fox and Dr. Gerald L. and Ellen Smith Fox , all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Alan Lynn Fox of Louisville, Ky., Mark Randall Fox of Lexington, Ky., Melinda Denise Fox , Jeffrey William Fox , Sarah Fox Sharp, Angela Fox Craft, Lisa Fox Shanks and Michael Lynn Fox , all of Knoxville; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Brock of Beaverton, Oregon; sister, Winifred Jenkins, Pearl Rammin and Jean Mahoney, all of Medford, Oregon. Funeral service 7 p.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. David Hanes officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 10 a.m. interment service. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Alice Bell Baptist Church Nursery Dept., where Mrs. Fox served for over 37 years, 3305 Alice Bell Rd., Knoxville, TN 37917. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
