He attended Old Chilhowee Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Beecher and Viola Garner. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Garner; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Russ Lewis of Maryville; son, Harold Lloyd Nichols; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Amanda Garner of Alcoa; grandchildren, Whitney Lewis, Kandyce Lewis, Asa Nichols and Dylan Nichols; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Wilma Garner of Seymour and J. W. and Sandra Garner of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Dortha and Neil Albright of Fayetteville, AR; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Old Chilhowee Baptist Church with Rev. John Russell and Rev. David Hutsell officiating. The interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
