GARNER , VIOLA - age 84, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2000 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of Old Chilhowee Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Blount County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beecher Garner . Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Dortha and Neal Albright of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sons and daughters in law, Harold and Brenda Garner of Alcoa, Walter and Wilma Garner of Seymour, J.W. and Sandra Garner of Knoxville; grandchildren, Teresa, Harold, Dustin, Ricky, Lawrence, Randy, Brandy Ellen, and Leona; sister, Della Garner of Maryville; brothers and sisters in law, Ernest and Faye Reagan of Walland, Harrison and Ruth Reagan of Jacksonville, Fla. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Old Chilhowee Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Adams, Rev. Warren Risher, and Rev. John Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Friends may call at their convenience after 11 a.m. Saturday to the family home at 1625 Old Chilhowee Road, Seymour, where the body will lie in state throughout the day.
