GARNER , OVA AMBURN - age 75 of Maryville died Friday, November 21, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Siani Baptist Church where she was the Lady Sunday school teacher for 10 years. She also picked and sang with the church quartet and was a volunteer worker for Asbury Acres and Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by: 1st husband, John Ray Amburn mother, Ida Tipton all of Maryville father, Carl Smith of Del Rio. Survivors include: husband, Audley Garner children, Dennis & Denise Amburn, Larry & Joan Amburn, Linda & Roger Lowe, John Estal and Barbara Amburn 10 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren brothers, Burnis, Harold and Ralph Tipton. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 23, 2003 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Dean Jennings and Rev. Carl White officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2003 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 23, 2003, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.smithmortuary.com
