Sarah Elizabeth Henry Hurst, 87, born September 19, 1925, in Sevierville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at her home in Pigeon Forge, TN, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Wayne Hurst; sons, Dewey Rex Hurst and Ronnie Lee Hurst; father, Robert S. Henry; mother, Virgie Mae Walker Henry; sisters, Josie Chance and Pearl Hurst; brother, Bill, Roy, and Carl Henry, all of Sevierville; son-in-law, Harold Matthews of Dandridge.
Survivors include her children, Betty and T.O. Allen, Pat Matthews, Kathy and Frank McGill, Carl and Debra Hurst, Melissa and Tim Reagan; grandchildren, Rexalina and Danny Richards, Brian and Candace Hurst, Kim and Justin Mitchell, Tasha Hurst, Jama Matthews Gray, Kenny and Jada McGill, Sarah LaFollette, Dylan LaFollette; many great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Williams; brothers, Jack and Sam Henry; special niece, Charlotte McMahan of Sevierville, other family and a host of friends.
