Born in Sevierville, Tennessee, June 15, 1910 to Grant and Mary Ann Farr McKinney . Retired from the Knoxville City Schools in 1975 as a Nursery School Teacher at Maynard Elementary. Longtime member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by: husband, Melford Lavon Miller ; parents, Grant and Mary Ann McKinney ; brothers, Willie Paul McKinney , Harrison McKinney and Alonzo McKinney .
