Sandra F. Hux, age 58, of Newport, passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. She was an employee of Newport Federal Bank.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Hux of Newport; daughters, Meredith and Holly Hux of Hammond, LA; sons, Jeremy and Jason Crum of Newport; parents, Tillman and Edna French of Bybee; brother and sister-in law, Larry and Pam French of Chattanooga; sister and brother-in-law, Van and Phyllis Fox of Newport; special granddaughter, Madison Jade Crum; father-in-law, Rev. Frank Hux of Newport and the late Ruth Hux; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Louise Hux, Terry and Debbie Hux all of Newport, Paul and Linda Daniels of Piedmont, Alabama; also special niece and nephews; and very special friends past and present employees at Newport Federal Bank. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, The Madison Crum Scholarship Fund in care of Newport Federal Bank, 170 West Broadway, Newport, TN 37821
Funeral Services will be held 8:00 pm Thursday, April 12, 2007 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gene Watkins officiating. Burial will be held 10:00 am, Friday, April 13, 2007 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
