PIEDMONT, SC-Rebecca "Becky" Ann Butler Flanagan, age 59, wife of Glenn J. Flanagan, of 9 Hardeman Street, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at her home. Born in Newport, TN, she was a daughter of the late Billie O. and Eris Jackson Butler. She was formerly a teacher at Piedmont Christian Academy and a member of New Beginnings Full Gospel Church. In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by daughters, Cathy Ivey of Baneberry, TN, Cindy Swann of Dandridge, TN, Susie Woudstra of Newport, TN; son, Calvin Ivey of Newport, TN; step-children, Annette Harris, Kathy Brooks, Bobby Flanagan, Butch Flanagan; sister, Claudia Wegeman of Newport, TN; brothers, Roger Butler, Ronnie Butler, both of Newport, TN; four grandchildren, and thirteen step-grandchildren. She was preceded by a son, Mikey Ivey. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, SC. with the Rev. Bobby Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
