Eris Vonese Butler, age 82, of Newport, passed away Monday, August 15, 2005, at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie O. Butler Sr.; sons, Billie O. Butler Jr. and Charles Jackson Butler.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Susan Butler, of Newport, and Ronnie and Shirley Butler, of Sevierville; daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Robert Wegeman, of Newport, and Rebecca and Glen Flanagan, of Piedmont, S.C.; brothers, Robert Jackson, Nelson Jackson, and Rodney Jackson, all of Dunn, N.C.; sister, Linda McCloud, of Irwin, N.C.; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bobby Hogan officiating, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home.
