BURNETT, GENNY ANN - of Strawberry Plains, loving wife, mother, and friend, passed away surrounded by her family after a long battle with lung cancer on August 29th, 2010. She is survived by: loving husband of 18 years Earl Burnett; children: Kristi Lee, Camolyn and husband Dwight Webb, Jamie Hobby, Beth Lee; grandchildren: DJ Curze, Hanna Lee, Baleigh, Hunter, and Blake Wilkerson; brothers: Earl, Joe, and Paul Welch; stepchildren: Carolyn and husband Scott Warren, Cathy and husband Reece Hewitt, Joey and wife Kelly Burnett; grandchildren: Bobby Warren, Mason and Jake Hewitt, and Luke and Chase Burnett. She was preceded in death by: parents Luther Welch of Washburn and Sally West of Knoxville; brother Carl Welch of Ft. Worth TX; and sister Ida Sue Neal of Chattanooga, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00 with the interment to follow at Eastview Memorial Gardens.
