She was preceded in death by her husband, James Presley; parents, James and Prudie McMahan; daughter, Betty Garland; infant son, Michael; five brothers, Jake Devine, Fred Devine, Austin Devine, Roosevelt McMahan, and Pete McMahan; two grandsons, Kenny and Arnold Vance; and granddaughter, Judy Stokes. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Franklin “Bud” and Janice Vance, Billy and Ginger Vance, Jimmy and Dina Vance, Calvin and Angie Vance, and Roger Vance all of Maryville, and Gene and Debbie Vance of Calhoun, GA; daughter and son in law, Faye and Donnie Suttles of Maryville; beloved sister Eller Nichols of Vonore; twenty four grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Vonore, Rev. Tim Garland officiating. Interment service will immediately follow the funeral service at Mt.
