Joyce Ann Mills Novelli, age 54, of Bean Station, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at her home. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Joyce joined the Church of Christ faith April 20, 1969. She was an animal lover. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Mary Helen Mills of Maryville; great-grandparents, John Franklin and Harriett Burchfield of Cades Cove, Thomas R. and Martha A. Austin Mills of Sevier County, Arkansas, Isaiah and Mary Jane Winders Snyder of Columbia County, Pennsylvania; grandparents, Commodore and Maggie Lee Forester Tipton of Townsend, Elery and Myrtle Snyder Mills of Howard County, Arkansas; and uncles, J.C., Raymond, Irene and Lee Reagan of Townsend, Fred and J.D. Mills of Arkansas. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Daniel Novelli; her daughter, Gena Ann Sayne Campbell; son, Ronald E. Sayne; grandchildren, Anthony Epperson, Jordan and Mason Campbell, Kevin, Ashley, and Heather Sayne; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Sandie Juenger Novelli; sister-in-law, Lisa Novelli Miller; brother-in-law, David Novelli; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil and Gladys Tipton Mills; sister, Sarah Broyles and husband, David Broyles; brother, Dale Mills; lots of nieces and nephews; cousin, Brenda Reagan of Townsend. Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, with Rev. James Cooper officiating. The interment service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
