He was a U.S. Army Veteran and he was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Rainwater was born February 19, 1940 in Dandridge, Tennessee in the Chestnut Hill Community, to the late Lonnie and Victoria Rainwater, who preceded him in death as well as brothers, Harry and Glen and sisters, Hazel Romines, Myrtle Hagen, Wilma Brabson, and Ruth Rainwater. He is survived by his son, Victor Thomas “Tommy” Rainwater and daughter, Victoria Ann “Tori” Rainwater, both of Pigeon Forge, grandchildren, Jessie Thomas Rainwater of Newport, Chelsea Stuart of Jefferson City, Josh and Scott Herndon of Newport, brother, Carl (Brenda) Rainwater of Dandridge, sisters, Charlotte (Carl) Worth of Sevierville, and Janice Ford of Newport, nieces, Sharon Claudette Wilson, Carla McCarter, and Vicki Daniels, nephews, Martin and Mitchell Rainwater, Randy, Kent, and Mark Rinehart, Michael and Jeffrey Bierer, and Charles Ricky Ford, and special friend, J.R. Miller of Ten Mile, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 12pm-2pm at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Alan McCarter officiating.
