Katheryn Clevenger Lovell, 79, of Newport, died Sunday evening at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Paul (Tookie) Lovell.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jackie Lovell of Newport; daughter, Connie Lynn Raines of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Wesa and Tommy Greenway of Greeneville; brother, Clifford (Moose) Clevenger of Newport; sisters, Pauline Holen and Liz Joyce, both of Cleveland, Ohio, and Rosie Thornton of Chestnut Hill; grandchildren, Chase and Jordan Greenway of Greeneville, Todd and Derek Raines of Newport, and Richard Lane of Newport; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of þowers, the family requests that you plant a þower in Katheryn’s memory or give a donation to the Smoky Mountain Hospice.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery with Rev. Adam Sanders ofÞciating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at Manes Funeral Home.
Those serving as pallbearers are Scott Sweeten, Mike Ottinger, Peodore Campbell, Alfred Fine, Marlin Strickler, and Ed Thornton.
Those serving as honorary pallbearers are Katheryn’s grandsons.
Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
