He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Kirkland and husband, Ricky of North Carolina; grandchildren, Justin and Jeremy Kirkland; sister, Laura Ann Clevenger of Newport; favorite niece, Darlene Brooks and husband Larry and their son, Kurt; niece, Julia Kazzar of Chattanooga, Karen Smith of Chattanooga, Sara Smith of Jefferson City, Tammy Ealy, of Newport; nephew, Randy Rippetoe of Dandridge.
