WALKER, RAMONA FAYE - 76 of Kodak, went home to be with her Lord whom she loved very much on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Knoxville. Ramona loved to sing and was a retired missionary. She also wrote articles for different magazines including Guidepost and other newspapers. Preceding Ramona in death are: her brother, Kenneth Burkhart step-brother, E.P. "Jake" Tullock and sister, Margie Burkhart. Leaving behind to mourn her passing, but celebrating her life, are: her husband, Harold Walker daughter, Lisa Ezzell of Knoxville son, Shannon Walker and wife Kathleen of Kodak 9 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren brothers, John, Shannon, Robert and David Burkhart sisters, Travis Beeler and Mary Kate Foster. Besides the immediate family, Ramona will be missed by: many nieces, nephews, other relatives, several foster children, and a host of friends whose lives she has touched. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Abbott Cemetery in Wears Valley with Rev. Robert Burkhart officiating.
