(August 1, 1932 - September 5, 2009) U.S. Veteran Harold Huffstetler, age 77, of Maryville, passed away Saturday morning, September 5, 2009 with his family by his side. He was a wonderful husband and loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War. Preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Ownby; and father, Wright Huffstetler. Survivors include his wife, Norma Huffstetler; son and daughter in law, Gene and Charlsie Huffstetler; daughter and son in law, Teresa A. and Russell “Rusty” (who was like a son) Willocks; grandchildren, Richard M. Crisp; Grace Khalsa, and Kara Hawkins; great grandchildren, Bella and Ava Hawkins; sister, Lois Arnold; and brother, William “Bill” Huffstetler. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Blount Memorial Hospice and to his many friends who made dad feel so special through his fight with cancer. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2009 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Beecher Whitehead, Rev. Tom Hatley, and Mr. Dennis Kirkland officiating. Family and friends will meet 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside service and interment.
