Sanders Hospital. She was a faithful member and usher of Central Baptist Church Bearden for over 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, David and Mearle Cheatham and husband, Leo Coates. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Diane and Mr. Lem Raines. The family would like to thank Thompson Cancer Center, especially Dr. Richard Grapski and his staff and the 8th Floor nurses at Ft. Sanders Hospital. The family will receive friends from 12 noon-1 PM on Friday, July 16, 2010 followed by a celebration of Charlotte's life at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway with Rev. Mark Moreland and Rev. Archie Fendley officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
