TERRY, THURMAN HARRISON (BUSTER) - of Knoxville passed April 21 at Hillcrest North after a long & courageous battle with cancer. Retired from Knox County School Maintenance Dept. Member of Fountain City United Methodist Church, Christian Home Builders Sunday school class & the Lunch Bunch, Burlington Lodge #763 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Kerbella Temple, former member Knoxville Reserve Police Department. Preceded in death by parents, Clyde & Florence Terry. Survivors: wife, Betty Louise Simmons Terry; daughter & son in law, Janice Marie & Steve Loyd; twin grandsons, Chase Harrison & Morgan Nolan Loyd all of Atlanta; brother & sister in law, Earl Lynn & Lois Terry; sister & brother in law, Frances & Thomas E. Rush; sisters; Ruth Dawson of Knoxville, Nora Martin of Atlanta; several nieces & nephews. Service 8 p.m.. Mon. Mynatt's Chapel, Dr. P.L. Rowlett officiating. Family & friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tues. Greenwood Cemetery for interment. Honorary pallbearers members of Christian HomeBuilders Sunday school class. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Knox County Mobile Meals P.O.
