Jesse was in his first year at ITT in Knoxville where he was studying Computer Graphic Design and had just made the Dean’s List. He loved his video games and being at home with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who loved and cherished him. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Nelse Kirby and Wilbur Clark, James and Eula Mae Owens; great-uncles, Bob, Dado, and Jim Kirby; and uncle, Michael Owens. Jesse is survived by his parents, Ernie and Shannon Owens; sister, Kerri Anne Owens; cousin by birth, Big Brother by heart, David Moore; grandparents, Ed and Kathy Owens, Donnie and Debbie Clark, Laura Helen Adams; great-grandmothers, Edna Kirby and Ruth Clark; uncles, Jared Clark, Eddie and Phyllis Bittle; aunts, Michelle and Dennis Andrews, Patty and Mark Barnes; being a close family he was loved by so many people including his great aunts and uncles, Ken and Jean Justus, Charles and Merilyn Christopher, Darrellynn and Larry White, Roy and Jonelle Kirby, Lloyd Kirby and Helen Kirby. He has too many cousins to list but will forever live in their hearts. Special friends to the family include Linda Baker Wellborn and Kay Newkirk. His special friends include but certainly not limited to the “ManCave” roster: Brandon Cogdill, Ricky Branch, Dustin Calhoun, Daniel Calhoun, and Ryan Stott. Funeral service 1 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chinquapin Cemetery.
