She attended New Bethel Church of Newport. She was a devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Moore; sisters Mae Cameron and Gertha Moore; brother Kiley and Glen Calfee; parents James Kite and Parlee Calfee; grandson Eddie Carroll Moore; and great-granddaughter Skyler Fox. She is survived by her children Buford (Sylvia) Moore of Newport; Blenda (Johnny) Fox of Parrottsville; Ruby Moore, Wanda (Dean) Ball, Patricia (Larry) Holdway of Newport; Ann (Richard) Rolen of Dandridge; Sam Moore, Jr., David Moore, and James (Dee) Moore, all of Newport; brother Buford (Dugan) Calfee of Newport; grandchildren Carolyn (Buford, Jr.) and David Moore of Newport; Tammie (David) Butler of Bybee; Terry (Holly) Fox, Troy (Jeanene) Fox of Parrottsville; Amanda, Joseph, and Jamison Ball, Jolene and Jason (April) Holdway, of Newport; Richy Rolen, Melinda (Randell) O'Dell, Jordan, Serria, and Taylor Moore, Holly Holt, Johnathon (Tiffany) Moore, Ashley (Chris) Crum, and Buffy Reed; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Winters, Rev. Jerry Williams, and Rev. Joseph Ball officiating.
