JONES, CHARLES MILTON, JR. age 71 of Knoxville, was born May 12, 1933. God saw he was worn out and took him home Saturday September 18, 2004. He was a member of the Church of God. He retired in 1994 from City of Knoxville Engineering Dept. with over 38 years of service. Charles was a member of Bright Hope Lodge #557 F&AM, the York Rite and a Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by: father, Charles Milton Jones Sr. Survived by loving and devoted family: wife of 48 years, Bobbye Dennison Jones son, Charles Michael Jones grandson, Ryan Michael Jones mother, Zanie Conard Jones brother and sister-in-law, John and Donna Jones sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Ronnie Roach several nieces and nephews. A Masonic Service, by Bright Hope Lodge #557 F&AM will be at 2:00 pm. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel followed by a Funeral Service with Rev. James R. Stroud officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers: Charles M. Jones, Ryan Jones, Scott Jones, James Jones, Tommy Conard, Greg Lee, Ronnie Roach Jr., Anthony Chapman. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
