Mildred Householder Ogle age 93 of Pigeon Forge, TN. passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008. She was born on July 4, 1914 to parents, Andrew Temple and Carrie Gobble Householder. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge. She retired in 1982 as Postmistress of the Pigeon Forge Post Office with 40 years of service. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Rellie Ogle; four brothers, Bill, Henry, Mayford and Trotter Householder; sister, Agnes Householder Lyons.
She was survived by; son, Michael Ogle and wife, Clara of Athens, Alabama; daughter, Margaret Andrew Ogle Trundle and husband, Benton of Sevierville; grandsons, Stephen Michael Ogle of Fort Collins, Colorado; Lonnie Dale Trundle and wife, Cindy of Sevierville; granddaughters, Pamela Trundle Tarwater and husband, Michael of Sevierville; Tanya Ogle Carpenter and husband, Don of Boise, Idaho; Great grandchildren, Jordan Alexander Tarwater and Chelsea Elizabeth Tarwater of Sevierville.; sister-in-law; Lyda Robertson Householder; the families and extended families of her brothers and sister and her dear friend, Billie Bohanan.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Charles Bozeman and his staff, Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center (Broady Wing), Covenant Home Health, Sevier County Ambulance Service, Pamela Kayon, Pastor of Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church and Rev. W.W. Cope for the loving care they provided.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville on Thursday, March 20, 2008. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rawlings Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. with services officiated by the Rev. W.W. Cope to follow.
Family and friends are invited to meet at Pigeon Forge Cemetery for interment Services on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to First Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge.
