DINWIDDIE, GERTRUDE LIVELY age 87, of Knoxville, passed away 10:35 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Hillcrest Medical Nursing Institute North. Member of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church. She was retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 25 years of service. Preceded in death by husband, Jack C. Dinwiddie; son-in-law, Austin Elder; sister, Stella Coker; brothers, Dillard Lively and Roscoe Lively. Survivors: daughter, Carolyn Elder of Knoxville; grandsons and wives, Bryan and Teresa Elder, Stanley and Sherri Elder, both of Corryton; beloved great grandson, Justin Elder; step great granddaughter, Lindsay Reed; sister, Mabel Ray of Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl Flatt Cockrum and George Cockrum of Cookeville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Yvonne Lively, Alvis, Jr. and Mary Lively both of Knoxville, Jack and Maude Lively of Oliver Springs; several nieces and nephews; friend, Dick Massengill. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday at Stevens Chapel with Rev. Bobby Lay and Rev. Bill LaRoy officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Stevens Mortuary to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers; Bryan Elder, Stanley Elder, Justin Elder, David Lively, Darrel Lively, Mark Flatt, Don Longmire and Jerry Lively.
