WILLIAMSON , JAMES McDONALD - age 78 of Bristol, TN formally of Harriman passed away Wednesday December 22, 2004, at Wellmont Hospice House. Preceded in death by parents Willie Lee & Ona Lee Williamson , brothers Clyde T & C.M. "Bill" Williamson , sister Hazel Lee Williamson Lewis. He served for 31 years as a music educator having taught band in the Harriman City School system for 20 years. Member & longtime choir director of Harriman United Methodist Church. Member of Harriman Lions Club, past President of Harriman Teachers Association, past secretary of East Tenn. School Band & Orchestra Association, band director emeritus of the Babahatchie Community Band. A member of Phi Beta Mu. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Survivors: wife, Etta Jane Williamson of Bristol sons & daughters in law, James E. & Tammie Williamson of Nashville, Zachary Lee & Mary Williamson of Kingston son, Wiley Kenneth Williamson of Bristol 9 grandchildren. Funeral 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Harriman United Methodist Church with Rev Richard Tallent officiating. There will be a reception after the service at Harriman United Methodist Church.
