HUNT, JOSIE MAE HODGE - age 97 of Maryville, formerly of Greenback, passed away Tuesday morning, November 25, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Vonore. Preceded in death by husband, James E. Hunt son, Cornelius Hunt daughter and son in law, Elma Ruth and Loyd Ward parents, Anderson and Addie Hodge and sisters, Alice Hunt, Bertha Tyler and Nettie Martin. Survivors include, son and daughter in law, Gilis and Beulah Hunt of Maryville daughter in law, Marie Hunt of Maryville son and daughter in law, Ricky and Kathy Burchfield of Sevierville grandchildren, Curtis Hunt and wife, Debbie, Larry Hunt, Karen Runyon and husband, Jimmy, Jimmy Hunt and wife, Dion, Kathy Hunt, David Hunt and wife, Beth 14 great grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren special friends, Mrs. Everett Lowe and Nona Belle Williams several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all the workers and nurses at Colonial Hills Nursing Home for their special love and care these past few years. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tommy Self officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vonore for the interment service. Family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
