He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Pauline and Charlie R. Nelson; sisters, Betty Nelson, Linda K. Nelson, and Vonette Nelson; and brother, Dwain Nelson. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Deanna and Mark Anderson, Gladys and Bobby Bean, and JoAnn and Arthur Lawson all of Maryville; brothers, Edward Nelson of Seymour and Danny Nelson of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Wednesday at Mt. Zion Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Billy Carrigan officiating.
