DENNY, JOYCE ANN (BUD) - age 49 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend to many. She trusted in the Lord at a young age and was special to all who ever met her. Preceded in death by parents Evan and Louise Davis and special loved ones. Survived by husband Reggie Denny, daughter Heather Hicks (Richard), grandsons Tyler & Matthew Hicks, daughter Brandy Daley, granddaughter Emily Daley, Daughters, Angie Robison, and Debra McHaffie, Grandchildren Hunter and Haley McHaffie. Special son Nathaniel Denny. Sisters and brother-in-law Carol Thompson (Eddie) their children Stephanie (Jason), Keri (Joey) and Jonathan Thompson. Velda Hicks (David) and their children Jessica and Alex Hicks. Brothers Alvin Davis and his daughters April and Sandy Davis and brother Don Davis, great nieces and nephews, Breann, Ezekiel, Kaydee, and Savanah. Special Cousins Beverly, Linda and Arlee. Family and friends will meet on Friday at 1:00, May 21, 2010 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. Mike Sledge officiating. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 at Norwood Baptist Church, 1725 Wilson Rd., Knoxville, TN 37912. In lieu of flowers a trust fund will be set up for Nathaniel Denny, Contact Brandy Daley.
