Anna Renner Huff, 85, of Newport, passed away, Saturday, November 11, at Mariner Health, following a lengthy illness.
She attended Bridgeport Freewill Baptist Church. She was employed at Stokely Van Camp for many years before her retirement in 1980.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Huff; her parents, Hubert and Jeddie Renner; her sisters, Sue Ella Renner, Ada Crumbley, and Helen Renner; and her brothers, Nile and Earl Renner.
She is survived by her brother, Bob Renner, of Greeneville, Tennessee; her nephews, Charles Renner and his wife, Elaine, of Millville, New Jersey; Steve Renner and his wife, Evelyn, and Robert Renner and his wife, Theda, all of Newport; her nieces, Willa Dean Ellison and her husband, William, Phyllis Dunn and her husband, Lonnie, all of Newport; and Janice Haney and her husband, Carroll, of Greeneville; her brothers-in-law, Turner Huff and his wife, June, Johnny Huff and his wife, VivaLee, all of Cosby; and her sister-in-law, Marjorie Roland, of Cosby.
Service will be held Tuesday, at 2 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Hal Kirk officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery. The family received friends Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
