He was a member of Dutch Valley Church of God. Mr. Harrison was a member of Brite Hope Lodge #557, and Scottish Rite of Freewill Masons. He was a former business agent and retired member of Local #46 Asbestos Workers, Knoxville, Tenn., and was a member of the North Knoxville Sportsman's Club. He was an avid sportsman, willing to take and teach a new friend what he knew. Mr. Harrison loved God, family, and friends with sincerity that all could see. He left a void only to fill a special place in heaven. Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Martha a brother, Kenneth. He is survived by his loved wife of 57 years, Margaret sons, Jim and wife, Sandy, Gene and wife, Carol grandsons, Scottie, Andy , Billy, and Mikey great-grandchildren, Ashton, Dalton, Angela, Mike, Greg, and Preston brothers, Ruble, Roy and Sidney sisters, Ruth, Rachel, Betty, and Shirley, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Harrison is at Highland Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Jack Dean and the Masonic Order officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Stan Hackworth, Wayne McNeely, Harold Jeffers, Ernest Kelly, Allen Butler, Bernard Proffit, Bruce Nave, Louis Starnes, and Don Haynes.
