TREADWAY , HOWARD- age 75 passed away Oct. 27, 1999 at his home in Harrogate, Tenn. Born Nov. 13, 1923 at Yellow Creek, Ky. The son of the late James S. and Martha Treadway , who survives. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by first wife, Mabel Means Treadway ; and brother, Ben Treadway . Survivors, wife, Dorothy Moore Roe Treadway , Harrogate, Tenn.; step children and spouses, Donald s. and Karen Roe, Powell, Tenn., John Gregory Roe, Corbin, Ky., Denise(Roe)and James Gilbert, Harrogate, Tenn.; mother, Martha Treadway , Oak Ridge, Tenn.; sisters and spouses, Mary Baytes, Spartanburg, SC., Ruth Grubb, Sevierville, Tenn., Margaret and Frank Harrison, Knoxville, Tenn., Virginia and Willous Marsee, Speedwell, Tenn., Jewell and Kenneth Edwards, Speedwell, Tenn.; brothers and spouses, John and Madge Treadway , Speedwell, Tenn, Aaron (Bud)and Vonita Treadway , Powell, Tom and Kathleen Treadway , Powell, Tenn., Harold and Karen Treadway , Knoxville, Tenn.; brothers in law and spouses, Rev. Harry and Della Moore, Greenville, Tenn., Rev. Casper (Tip)and Evelyn Moore, Middlesboro, KY., James and Beatrice Moore, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews; seven step grandchildren. He was a member of Shawanee Baptist Church, Harrogate, Tenn. and former member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Speedwell, Tenn. Retired from Holiday Gulf and Holiday BP service station where he was employed for over 18 years. Visitation 6-8 p.m. with services at 8 p.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Fox and Mitchell Keck presiding. Music by Dewey Gilbert and Josh Peters. Graveside services 1:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors by VFW post #3382. Members of the men's Sunday school class of Shawanee Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the senior bowling league.
