Bessie Ball, age 89 went to be with the Lord Thursday December 8, 2005 at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sara James Ball; brother, Ike Ball; niece, Faye Mantooth.
Bessie was also preceded in death by her sisters, Leona Mantooth of Newport, Algie Ball of Newport, Emma Ball of Newport, and Louella Crum of Newport.
Miss Ball will also be missed by a special niece and caregiver, Linda Sue Crum; nephew, Lacy Crum; several other nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday December 11, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Blanchard and Glenn Ball officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
The family received friends Saturday December 10, 2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide final arrangements for Miss Bessie Ball.
